Woman says Bigfoot caused her car accident

SERVING TEMECULA AND THE SAN DIEGO METRO

We have a weird story for you today. Car accidents, as we all know, can be caused by almost anything. There’s bad weather, inattentive drivers, bad road conditions and all kinds of hazards. We thought we had heard it all.

Turns out, we were wrong. Today we have a story of a car accident caused by an unlikely source: Bigfoot.

According to reports, a woman was driving in a wooded area when she saw something in her mirror. What did she see? Sasquatch. Or so she says. The beast, standing seven or eight feet tall according to the woman, was chasing several deer through the woods. As the woman was watching this unfold, she ran into a deer crossing the road.

A sheriff deputy arrived on the scene and found evidence of the crash, but no evidence of “the elusive bigfoot.”

As in so many accidents, the big takeaway is to remember you should always pay attention. No matter what is going on outside your vehicle, including Bigfoot dashing through the woods, you need to pay attention to the roads.

It’s easy to joke about a situation like this. However, taking your eyes off the road for even a few seconds can lead to a disaster. The woman in this case was lucky she didn’t hit another vehicle or do more damage to hers.

Regardless of whether or not you believe Sasquatch exists, there is one important take away from this story: Keep your eyes on the road.
