There are many known risks when utilizing California roadways. Careful drivers make sure they are aware of these risks and attempt to take action to mitigate them. According to reports, the incident happened at approximately 6 p.m. on a day in July. A 25-year-old man and 19-year-old woman were reportedly riding on a motorcycle. Reports indicate that the 52-year-old driver of a sedan turned into their path, resulting in a collision.
Both people on the motorcycle were trapped under the car and had to be rescued. The driver and passenger were transported to the hospital. Unfortunately, the young woman passed away later the same day from the injuries she suffered.
Motorcycles may be more difficult to see due to their smaller size. As a result, drivers must remain vigilant at all times. The family of this young woman is now facing the unthinkable — planning her funeral because of what appears to be a preventable motorcycle accident.
